Russian Retail Forum

Hugely positive and constructive atmosphere at Russian Retail Forum 2011

Adam Smith Conferences would like to thank all speakers, sponsors and attendees for their participation in the 10th Anniversary Annual Russian Retail Forum, which took place on 28th – 31st March 2011 in Moscow.

Your presentations, questions and opinions, as well as your active participation in the debates and discussions made the Forum a great success!

In spite of today’s more difficult economic climate, well over 250+ attendees took part in the Forum and the meeting’s atmosphere was lively, upbeat and productive. As always, the event provided a high-level platform for detailed industry updates, as well as outlining strategic development plans for the future. The comprehensive 4-day agenda offered a balanced range of plenary sessions, interactive discussions, panel debates and round tables - not forgetting the extensive networking opportunities provided throughout the event programme.
Attendees consider this event to be the annual meeting-place for the industry – a chance to gather with their peers to debate the latest developments, share experiences, and learn about innovations and best practice for the sector from a 60+ strong expert speaker faculty. This year the speaker faculty was headed up by some of the most influential retail industry figures, both Russian and international, including:

  • Lev Khasis, Chairman, Retail Companies Association
  • Ilya Yakubson, President, Dixy
  • Andrey Gusev, General Director, Rigla
