Vredestein produces UHP (ultra high performance) and HP (high perform­ance) class tyres, and high-tech radial tyres for agricultural equipment.

Joint company "Severgal" was founded by JSC "Severstal" (75% of shares) and the European Group "Arcelor" (25% of shares) on February 14, 2002. Total amount of investment for the project of the new line that is going to produce galvanized products is 170 mln USD; from which 80 mln USD are own funds of JCSC "Severgal" and 90 mln USD are European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (ÅBRD) loan. The capacity of the line will be 400 thousand tons of galvanized coils per year.
