It is no secret that the Ukrainian financial sector was one
of the first to experience the effects of the global liquidity
crisis, which is why Adam Smith Conferences’ 3rd Annual
Ukrainian Banking Forum, which took place earlier in
November, was a particularly timely event.
It was pleasing to note that, particularly in such challenging
times, the Ukrainian Banking Forum once again
managed to strengthen its reputation and importance
as the most significant event in the sector.
This year, over 350 top
executives of leading financial institutions from 20 countries
around the world, gathered together to analyse recent and upcoming
developments, and to shape an action plan together with representatives

Besides the compelling presentations and chance to meet with
key figures from leading Ukrainian and international financial
institutions, the Ukrainian Banking Forum also
offered tremendous opportunities for networking in an informal
atmosphere.
